Taste of Health is our annual vegetarian food fair (now in its 14th year) where thousands of attendees can enjoy tasty animal-free samples, cruelty-free products and learn the latest from cooking demos and informed speakers. 13th Annual Taste of Health 2011
Last year's event was a huge success and held at the Yaletown Roundhouse. There were approximately 1000 people in attendance, exposing them to the wonderful world of plant-based living!
Sarah Taylor, Author of Vegan in 30 Days, will be speaking on how to transition to a vegan diet - no matter what your starting point is. She will offer dozens of practical and useful tips for making a vegan diet easy and achievable. A vegan naturopath born and raised in Vancouver, Bobby obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science Degree (Kinesiology, Psychology and the Humanities) from Simon Fraser University and proceeded to complete a four year program in naturopathic medicine at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, his scope of practice includes: Nutrition, both Western and Eastern Herbology, and Acupuncture. He has a special interest in hormones and has additional certification in treating subclinical hypothyroidism (Wilson's Temperature Syndrome).
