CARROT FRIES RECIPE
one bag of organic baby carrots
or slice regular carrots about a centimeter thick.
toss with 1 -2 tsp olive oil
sprinkle with salt
(1/2 tsp or to taste)
Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet.
Warm oven and then bake (flipping once) at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes
- or until a little browning occurs.
add a little dried parsley
for flavour, or toss in a little rice flour
for extra crispiness.
1 package silken tofu
1 clove garlic
(or 1/2 tsp of garlic / onion salt)
1 TBSP lemon juice
a pinch of mustard
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 tsp of guar gum for thickener
pepper: black, chipotle, paprika, roasted red or cayenne
blend until smooth
